On 24-25 December, 2011, the Annual International Education Conference of AFMI
(American Federation of Muslims of India) based in USA, was held at RANCHI in
Jarkhand State and statewide Muslim Students who ranked First, Second
and Third were presented with the AFMI’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals
& Scholarship checks, respectively.
The Confernce was attended by the Governor of the Jarkhand as Chief Guest,
other political dignitaries, academicians, professionals and foreign delegates
of the various countries across the world.
AFMI’s objective is to recognize publicly the bright Muslim Students (irrespective of Islamic
sect and regional background) of India and to assist for the upliftment of Muslim society of
the disadvantaged places of the rural area in India.
Among Indian Muslim-Students from all over the India, Dawoodi Bohra Community’s student :
Ms. HUSENA INAYATALI DHARIWALA from Kolkata stood FIRST in West Bengal Board’s
SSC (10th Grade) Exam.in March-2011 with the score of 92% and received AFMI GOLD MEDAL
with a Scholarship Check.
