Burhani College leaps ahead. A Prestigious scholarship to study in US has been bagged by 5 Dawoodi Bohra students of Burhani College.
The US Consulate General, Mumbai has selected six students from Burhani College from an all India strength of forty two students for the Community College Initiatives Program 2012-13. This international educational exchange program enables selected individuals to study at community colleges in the United States to develop professional skills. Eligible fields for our selected students are Business Management and Administration, Information Technology, Media, Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The Community College Initiatives will provide funding for round-trip airfare to the U.S, fully sponsored lodging & boarding & a living allowance during academic, and practical training program components, tuition costs, a health benefit plan, and cultural enhancement activities. Students selected from all over the world will be hosted by the various community colleges competitively selected to participate in the program. Programs are approximately one year in duration. Students will be visiting many universities / colleges / activity centers related with the course they are pursuing for knowledge enhancement purposes. Students are required to return home at the end of their program and may not transfer to a four-year U.S. academic institutional Visa.
