Allah, the Almighty, has made many things obligatory upon believers, which they should perform, and He has prohibited many things which they should resist from. In all these obligations and injunctions, after belief in Allah’s divinity and acceptance of His messengers, nothing is more compulsory, more superior, more exalted, more noble and more beneficial than ‘ilm’, its seeking and its teaching.
