Al-Madrasatul Jamaliyah Nottingham parents and children visited the 1001 Islamic Inventions exhibition at London’s Science Museum.

The exhibition demonstrated Muslim contributions to science that have influenced science and technology to this day in fields as diverse as (amongst many others) astronomy, flight, medicine and photography.

The exhibition is on until the end of June in London before it will be presented elsewhere.

The exhibition website is well worth seeing especially the short film starring Ben Kingsley (the actor who played Gandhi).
