Huzurala (tus) presided over the aqiqa celebrations of his newest great grandchild, Shirin bahensaheba, grand-daughter of Shahzada Aali Waqaar Shahzada Idris bhaisaheb (dm) at London’s Mohammedi Park Masjid Complex.
The ceremony took place in the ceremonial entrance of the masjid complex on Tuesday morning. Huzurala (tus) was seated against a colourful backdrop of candy sweets and a Mumin bhai had the sharaf of removing the newborn baby’s hair in accordance with tradition, right in front of Molana. Tuesday marked her 14th day of life.
Thereafter Huzurala (tus) entered the iwan where further ziyafat arz was done by London Burhani Women’s Association and London Shababul Eidiz Zahabi. Nikahs were also performed by Aqamola (tus).
Molana’s (tus) bethak mubarak was set against a backdrop depicting the 4 elements; earth, fire, wind and water with ‘Mohammed’ at the centre of them all.
Addressing Shabab (youth) Molana (tus) said, ‘An aged sheikh sits amongst you’.
You celebrate my 99th milad and earnestly look forward to my 100th!
May Allah t’aala grant our beloved Aqamola (tus) long and healthy life taa qiyamat.
