PROJECT CLEAN AND GREEN MUMBAI
Taabudaad Na Amal 1431H – Jamali Mohalla, Nariyalwadi, Mazagaon, Mumbai
On occasion of Taabbudaad na ayyam and the mubarak days of the 99th milad mubarak of Huzureala(TUS) the Jamali Mohalla Mushahedeen Committee under guidance from Concern For Mumbai have done neeyat of growing 99 trees by planting 99 saplings this year in Jamali Mohalla (E Ward). Huzureala(TUS) has always laid emphasis on making and keeping our respective cities clean and green. With this objective in mind we at Jamali Mohalla planted 5 saplings in the morning of Tuesday the 9th of March at 10.30 am at the hands of Janab Amil Saheb Miyasaab Shaikh Moiz Bhai Sunelwala. The place selected was the garden next to Jupiter Towers, Mazagaon.
Janab Amil Saheb congratulated the Jamali Mohalla Mushahedeen Committee and its co-ordinators Khozema Bhai Mukhtiar and Mansoor Bhai Mistry and also the BMC E Ward led by Shri Raut who heads the horticultural deppt of BMC E Ward. Shri Raut assured all help to the Jamali Mohalla and promised to help us realise the planting of the balance 94 saplings before monsoons this year.
Janab Amil Saheb spoke to a gathering of residents of Jamali Mohalla from our community as well as members from other communities were also present. The BMC E Ward was represented by the Chief officer of Horticultural department Shri Raut and his assistant Shri Rathod and other members of the BMC E Ward. The officers were very happy to note that members of the dawoodi bohra community were doing a task of beautifying the city of Mumbai and growing more trees which is actually the job of the BMC. Janab Amil Saab thanked and congratulated all present and appreciated the efforts of Concern For Mumbai which is an organisation working towards a clean, green and pollution free Mumbai. Aamil Saab added that if each and everyone added towards the efforts of making Mumbai clean and green Mumbai would be a much more beautiful city. Amil Saheb stressed on the fact that all the work in the field of community development carried out by the various mohallas of Mumbai is being done as per the hidaayat of Aqa Moula(TUS) who is happiest when we as residents and citizens of Mumbai do projects towards a cleaner, greener and pollution free Mumbai.
Taking the benefit of the occasion and gathering present Amil Saab aptly stated ” Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara – Hum Bulbule Hain Uske Yeh Gulsitaan Hamaara ” . This was followed by a loud round of applause. Token of appreciation were given to the convenors as well as the BMC officials at the hands of Janab Amil Saheb.
