Annual Sports Meet
The Inter House Annual Athletic Meet was held on the 12th of January 09 at the University Ground. Shk.Shabbirbhai Ezzi (Rumalwala) was the Chief Guest on the occasion.The following members were present Madam Rashidaben saab, Shk.Tamimbhai Mahableshwarwala, Shk Mustafabhai Jariwala, Shk.Sultanbhai Topiwala, Mr.Juzerbhai Vajihee.
The students participated in the various events with great enthusiam and in the true spirit of sportsmanship.The primary students provided the fun and entertainment to the spectators by participating in the various races like the parrot race, the laundry race, the frog race, breakfast race etc. students of Std. VII presented a colourful P.T. display. The theme for the display was THE CIRCLE OF LIFE. The display was widely appreciated by all.
The chief guest distributed the championship trophies to the best athletes in the various age group. Medals were presented to the winners of the various races. The march pass trophy was won by the Blue House while the Overall Championship trophy was bagged by the Green House. Alongwith the trophies the best athletes were gifted a gold plated coin by the chief guest. The principal Ms. Devina Raval, Mr.Sanjay, our P.T. teacher, and Mr.Mansoorbhai, band master, were also gifted the same. The chief guest gave his consent to sponsor the renovation of the Nursery, an announcement to this effect was conveyed to the audience.
The parents who witnessed the event made their presence felt by tirelessly encouraging our students with their loud cheers.
