It is a well known tradition of our Dawoodi bohra community to visit family, friends and other mumineen during the month of Eid ul Fitr to meet and greet them.
It is a great pleasure for mumineen of Vancouver to honour Aqa Maula’s (tus) farman and to respect Maulas (tus) khushi, to celebrate Eid events the way Huzurala’s(tus) wishes, and this is the first time in Vancouver, the mumineen celebrated Eid ul Fitr by visiting each others homes to gather barakaat and get the khushi mubarak of Maulana (tus).
This “Unique Eid Celebration” was made possible due to the effort of our Amilsaheb Janab Mulla Quaidjohar bhai Diwan.
The mumineen here live in 8 suburbs in greater Vancouver,of British Columbia,and all suburbs were divided into 4 groups, and each group (mumineen of 2 suburbs) stayed home for half a day in the weekend of 5th and 6th of shavvaal (1429 H.) while the mumineen of other suburbs visited them,everything was well adjusted and planned so that almost all mumineen visited each others at their homes with their children.Every one enjoyed a lot, and mumineen experienced the true bliss and real feeling of Eid.
