Waaz Vignettes #3
Published by DBNet Editor (mf) May 20th, 2008 in UncategorizedOnce in their childhood Imam Hasan (as) and Imam Husain (as) were wrestling with each other to see who was the stronger. They were told instead to compare handwriting to see who was the fitter and when they had each written something they took it to Rasulallah (sa).
Rasulallah (sa) was loath to declare one as being better than the other and sent them to Molana Ali (as) who was equally disinclined to choose one over the other and sent them both to Molatena Fatema (as).
Noting that neither saheb had made a decision, Molatena Fatema (as) took off her necklace of 7 pearls and scattered them saying that the one of them that took up the most pearls was the stronger. Both had picked up 3 and Molana (tus) said that Imam Husain was on the verge of getting the fourth when Jibraeel (as) brought his wing down upon it to make 2 pieces out of one and both Imams ended up with the same pearls each.
Mohammed (sa), Ali (as), Fatema (as), Allah taala Himself were loath to break the heart of either Imam yet the enemies of Dawat paid no such heed.
