Baad as Salaam,

In Colombo on Lail al Eid e Milad al Nabi, under the auspices of al Had Nuruddin bs Taher bs Zakiuddin a whole programme of Ibadat and Kushi was conducted to celebrate Rasulillah’s Milad and commemorate Wafat of Busaheba Amatullah Aai Saheba al Husaini Masjid.

Along with Magrib and Isha Namaz there was Namaz for Rasulillah and Syedna Taher Saifuddin and Huzurala Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin.

Directly after namaz there was Kushi and Milad Majlis, following Qasida Mubarak Nuruddin bs conducted waaz. Zikr of Rasulillah and other hidayat Firmayu.

The plan and programme for Ayyam al Taabudaat were announced including roza for 13, 14, and 15th of Rabi al Awal Wednesday to Friday and Tilawat of 10 Surahs on Friday.

Other Ibadat including tasbih of al Khamsat al Athar, Aimmath Tahereen, Muqaddas Moula and Huzurala and Hizbonallah wa Nehmal waqeel, Salaat Tazbi al Azam, Shafa Vitr to be prayed till Milad, as well as Nisf il Layl and other Ibadath at night.

Niyath of 7 Darees and 7 Muzakarath, the first of which was on Thursday night Lail al Jamoa 14 Rabi al Awal.

After waaz of Lail al Milad there was recording of Moula’s Bayan Mubarak on Urs of Syedna Hatim AQ this year and Colombo was fortunate to hear it once again. Following this was Tilawat al Quran on for Busaheb Muqaddas Amatullah Aai Saheba. Following this there was Kushi ni Jaman.

12 Rabi al Awal

on Yaum al Milad for marado there was Mawkhib (procession) in Pettah area of Colombo. It ended at Saifi Masjid and Yaum al Milad majlis was conducted followed by Zohr Asr namaz and kushi ni Jaman.

For Muminaat there was a Burhani Womens CD presentation before Zohr Namaz and a majlis and jaman after Zohr.
