A Cancer Awareness Seminar – 2008 was organized by the Burhani Medical Idara (BMI) at Saifee Hospital, Charni Road on Saturday, 8th March, 2008.

Prominent doctors including Dr. K.M. Mohandas, the Dean (Academic) of Tata Memorial Hospital delivered lectures and enlightened the audience on the Symptoms, Types and Diagnosis of various common cancers.

A Message of Dua mubarak from our beloved Maula, Syedna Mohammed Burhanudin Aqa TUS was read. Maula TUS mentioned that medical science had progressed to tremendous heights and thus the cure of cancer and other diseases was but possible. Aqa Maula TUS also mentioned that eventually the provider of the benevolence of wellness and health was the Almighty Allah.

Select audiences of Mumineen professionals, entrepreneurs and intellectuals attended the seminar that was held at the Auditorium of Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. An extensive interactive session of questions-answers was also held. From the audience, renown psychologist, Dr. Huzaifa Bhinderwala also participated by giving answers to some of the queries.

Under the guidence and directions of Shahzada Aaliwaqar Qaidjoher Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin Saheb and Shahzada Aaliwaqar Qusai Bhaisaheb Vajihuddin Saheb, the Burhani Medical Idara, as part of the 97th Milad Mubarak celebrations of Aqa Maula TUS shall organize similar gatherings world over to promote cancer awareness amongst Mumineen by showing a CD of this Cancer Awareness Seminar – 2008 during Ayyam ud-Taabbudaat.
