Jubilant welcome of Aqa Moula in Mombasa

The mumineen of Mombasa are khush naseeb to have Aqa Moula tus in our city. The flight landed at 11.30am 4th September 2006. Moula was received by Livestock minister Mr Joseph Munyau and Heritage Minister Mr Suleiman Shakombo at the airport and Moula tus did dua for the country ‘The country is developing fast and this is attributable to hard work and peace and it is our prayer that this will continue for the benefit of the people’.

Moula tus arrived at the Burhani masjid at around 12.00 and did the opening of the tazyeen of Burhani Masjid that is taken from the relics (asaar) of Imam Mehdi’s masjid. The khidmat is done by Shk Mohammed Salmanji and family. There was wadhawanu rasam and Bawasaheb blessed mumineen with the sharaf of Nurani Kalemat during which Huzure Aala gave mumineen the khitab of ‘Naadim Mustagfireen’ and gave mubarakbadi for it.

Then moula did the iftetah of qasr mubarak and daarul imarat for which the khidmat was done by Shk Qurbanhussein Ezzi/Mulla Zakir Lukmanji and family and Mulla saifuddin Kasamji and family respectively. Gym next to the qasr - khidmat by Sk.Taherbhai and Sk. Shabbir Dawoodbhai.

At night Moula, in the zyafat of Shk Qurbanhussein Ezzi and late Mulla Zakir Lukmanji and family gave the mawaid the mubarak name of Ewane Mohammedi of which the mumineen of Mombasa did the khidmat. In the zyafat Moula tus performed the nikah of bhai Idris Shk Zoeb Ezzi.

After khushi nu jaman there was a magnificent display of fireworks.
