Al Jamea tus Saifiyah attended the NRA Hotel Motel show at McCormick Place, Chicago Illinois helping with the search for suppliers for international Ashara Mawaid. IAC (International Ashara Committee) and Mawaid Saifiyah of Jamea worked together to present the concept of Mawaid at the show.
Attendees of the show were able to witness the nemats Moula TUS has given to Mumineen. Jamea talabats were there to explain the complete etiquette of Dawoodi Bohra dining. Twice a day a thal was kept for attendees to get a real feel of how Mumineen dine.
The whole exhibition gave suppliers a thorough view of the Mawaid process. Many successful contacts were made and inshallah several of the concepts inspired by the show will be implemented in the near future.
Members of IAC and Jamea were also able to meet with American president George Bush. They shook hands and he conveyed his regards to Aqa Moula TUS.
